K-1 World Max 2008: Mike Zambidis vs K-1 Champion Andy Souwer



After 3 rounds and a questionable draw, an extra round was given. Iron Mike dominated the 4th round by throwing many powerful combos against a defensive Souwer. Unfortunately a high kick threw Iron Mike down dizzied, 50” before the end. He got up, but the judges decided that he shouldnΆt continue.



It was the best match of the evening, and all the spectators deified Mike, as if he was the winner of the match, since he managed to punish the K-1 champion, during almost all the rounds.



Souwer, obviously exhausted after the 4 rounds stated: “I have never been hit with so strong punches before”.
